Keri Hilson-I'm listening on Rhapsody
So...the name of the album is "No Boys Allowed". I'm listening though. "Pretty Girl Rock" really lured me in cause when I heard it for the first time I was into right away. My name is Keri, I'm so very, fly oh my it's a little bit scary. I haven't listened to the album in its entirety. I've skipped around mostly. I'm on "All the Boys" and its good. I likes it. I bought her first album cause of "Knock me Down". I listened to it and it had a few moments. I got a discount on it so it was worth it. I'm on "Beautiful Mistake". It's ok. I give it a 6. It's just so so. I like her voice. It's very commercial. "The Way you Love me" sounds like a song I turn the station when I'm listening in the car. Who started using those drum sounds that sound so Keyboard like? The fills. I like drum sounds that sound authentic. It's ok. I like her though. I'm not feeling Rick Ross. I'm listening to "Breaking Point". It's ok. I like her voice. I"d listen to this song again. "Bahm Bahm" has a reggae steez. I think if I listened to this album again it would grow on me. I've never really been into reggae but I've enjoyed dancing with women in the club to it. I give this album a 6.5.

How is Nicki Manaj's album really?
I'm listening to Nicki right now on Rhapsody. I've listened to it before but this time I'm gonna go from the beginning to the end. Let me just say I love Nicki Manaj. All of her collabos are classic Nicki. But, how is her album really? Does it live up to the hype? It's the second highest selling album first week from a female rapper since Lauryn Hill. I thought Foxy shook a half a mil and Lil Kim did some damage. I guess not as much as Nicki. When I've listened to this album in bits in pieces I didn't get it. But...this time we'll see.
I'm on the 2nd track "Roman's Revenge". This I thought was one of the best songs on the album. She gets at Lil Kim who I love as well. I love Nicki's theatrics. That's what I was trying to do with my delivery. A lot of times I came off monotone though. I love her Brittish accent. I was doing that when I worked for London Records back in the day. I'm on "Did it on em'". This was one of the better songs on the album. Nicki's entertaining. I just don't want to hear her life story. That's what the rest of the album is about. I like this song. I saw a pic of Nicki on the internet in an article about an alleged sex tape. She was looking sexy to say the least. Ok...Here's the single "Right thru Me". You've heard this if you listen to Hot 97. This is without the bleeps and blips censoring the song. "How do you do that ish"? But, with the curse. I'm enjoying this album so far. The hook is very simple. That's what I didn't like about "Your Love". They didn't even put "Massive Attack" on the album. It was never played on the radio. Ok...Here's "Fly" featuring Rihanna. I heard this at the end of Nicki's special on MTV. I like it. I wasn't into it that much when I heard it the first time. I'm on the next song "Save Me". Drum N' Bass. I like. I like the light Nicki not so much the deep. But, it does show layers as an artist so I'm not mad at her. Her sung hooks are pretty simple. Sometimes that's effective. I just think it's ok. The song is not bad though. I'm on "Moment 4 Life". I heard this on her special. It's good. I like this album much more than the first time I heard it. I was watching the Knicks during this song. Ok...I've heard this. "Check it out" featuring "Video Killed the Radio Star" sample. This is a Will.i.am. production. He's on the song. It's not bad. I'm enjoying it this time. Nicki looked kinda crazy at the MTV Music Awards doing this song. She was making mad faces when she was rapping. I admire her personality. What is the with the 80s samples??? "Blazin" features the Breakfast Club anthem Kanyeezy steez. I like it. I'll listen to this song first when I listen to this album again. "Here I Am" is next. I like the beat. I don't know why I wasn't feeling this album the first time I heard it. I just kinda skimmed through it. "Dear Old Nicki" is up next to bat. It's not bad. Regardless of how I feel about the album I think Nicki is a phenomenal talent. She'll be around for awhile even if Lil Kim grits her teeth in the process. The whole Barbie thing and the different color hair Lil Kim was doing like 10 years ago. Nicki also has the sex appeal too so I understand why Kim is so mad. I could probably skip "Your Love". They played this on Z100. Another 80s sample. Ok..."Last Chance" is the last song on the album featuring Natasha Bedingfield. It's good. Why did I not feel this album the first time? I give it an 8 out of 10.
